Marcela Santos Brigida \u00e9 uma acad\u00eamica, tradutora e escritora brasileira. Sua pesquisa concentra-se nas adapta\u00e7\u00f5es e apropria\u00e7\u00f5es da fic\u00e7\u00e3o de Charles Dickens em obras do s\u00e9culo XXI, na cultura material e no livro na Inglaterra do s\u00e9culo XIX, e na literatura irlandesa contempor\u00e2nea. Tamb\u00e9m publicou na \u00e1rea de Estudos da Performance e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e Justi\u00e7a Social.<\/p>\n

\u00c9 Professora de Literatura Inglesa na Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), onde coordena o projeto de extens\u00e3o Literatura Inglesa Brasil<\/a>.
